Welcome back to Keepin’ It Reel, the IGN show where Jim Vejvoda and Terri Schwartz bring you the latest genre movie news. So good bad news, good news. This is the final episode of Keepin’ It Reel. We explain in the podcast and video why this is happening, BUT fear not! We are essentially just rebooting the podcast/video show as The IGN Movies Show. It’ll still be us talking films and geek culture but with a new format and name.
Your podcast feeds should remain the same as we’ll be aiming to upload the IGN Movies Show to the same feed as Keepin’ It Reel, and we’ll also have a new email address for you folks to send us feedback when the IGN Movies Show debuts Friday, January 13, 2017.
(We’ll be keeping the publish time for the podcast and show the same as Keepin’ It Reel so roughly 11am PT on Fridays.)
In this final Keepin’ It Reel, we salute our former IGN colleagues who appeared on the show in the past, but more importantly pay our sincere respect to you good folks who have supported the show in the roughly eight years that it’s existed.
Terri and I also discuss our favorite movies of 2016, the films that disappointed us most this year, and the movies that we can’t wait to see in 2017.
Again, thank you for listening to and watching Keepin’ It Reel all these years, and please do come back for more of what you loved about it when our new IGN Movies Show launches Friday, January 13, 2017! Thank you, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
